Woohoo! I did it! Five items sewn and completed in one week! For my fifth and final project I made another winter staple – the Greenpoint Cardigan.
The pattern was one I picked up in a pattern bundle I purchased last year. It was really quick and came together easily however I would have to say that this is probably my least favourite of the five items. Mostly because of the fabric choice though – I think it looks a bit too grandpa with the burgundy colour. Do you think so?
I used a jersey interlock as the main fabric with a rib knit for the trims. I also did a bit of a dodgy job on the button hole placement but you can’t really tell when it’s done up (photographer’s license).
Anyway, I’m so super relieved to have completed what I set out to do and there’s no way I would have done it had it not been for the blog and all the supportive comments I’ve received from everyone. So a BIG thank you to all of you who have commented, liked or even read along this week – it really means a lot to me (awwww….warm fuzzies)
I hope you’ll stay tuned next week when I’ll reveal my sewing and blogging plans for February.
