I feel like I’m on a roll with my Kids Clothes Week sewing – woooo!! Today I finished the Retro Sweatpants – a great winter staple for my Big Boy. This pattern is a freebie released by Elegance and Elephants back in December.
I was surprised at how quickly they came together, even with finishing all the seams with the overlocker. There is an option for a drawstring which I didn’t go for but there are side pockets, ankle cuffs and the waistband has the detail of extra stitching lines which I really like the look of.
These are still far too long for him at the moment which is why I didn’t photograph them on but they should be the perfect size ready for winter.
I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out. They’ll be much more stylish that the $5 pairs I bought last year from the trusty department store!
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s reveal for the Little one 🙂
